Needlepoint 101

Wednesdays, April 4, 11 and 18, 6:00 - 9:00 pm 
Students will create a small picture using wool yarns on a canvas base fabric; the finished piece can be used as a picture or cushion. Learn how to prepare the canvas and to work some of the most common and useful needlepoint stitches, including basket stitch, tent stitch and some fancier needlepoint stitches as well. Please bring a small pair of scissors. No experience necessary; beginners are welcome. Materials fee $55, payable to the instructor. No supply list.
