Weave Your Name on an Inkle Loom
It’s time to play on the inkle loom! Continue the fun and weave your
name on a band. Students will get a brief refresher on making heddles
and warping the inkle loom. A patterned warp will be used to form
letters in the pick-up techniques. Bring your own inkle loom or arrange
to rent one from the guild if you want to continue your project(s) after
class. Two contrasting colors of 3/2 perle cotton is recommended; bring
your own or purchase yarn at the Guild the day of class. Some previous
inkle weaving experience necessary.
