What is tubular crochet? Learn to crochet three-dimensionally and
create a stylish and cozy basket. By using a rope core and wrapping of
yarn, the instructor will guide you through the “tubular crochet”
technique, show several examples of baskets, and cover planning and
designing a project. This technique uses fabric, robe, yarn or other
re-purposed/recycled materials (wool roving, novelty yarn, wire,
fabric). Crochet basics will be reviewed. Materials fee $20, payable to
the instructor. Student must have basic crochet skills: chain and single
crochet stitch.
