Northern Spark Festival - iPad Performance

Minneapolis-basedchoreographer, Vanessa Voskuil, and multimedia
artist, Scott Sayre, are currentlylooking for 20 volunteer participants
for a 10-15min movement-based, media performanceevent to be presented
by Northern Spark at the Walker Art Center on June 9,
2012.Eachperformer will possess and manipulate an Apple iPad, which
will contain apre-programmed visual score ranging from a dark or solid
color screen to acomponent of a largevideo mosaic.

Participants do not necessarily need to have any formal performing
arts training to participate. Participants will engage in a
movement-based rehearsal process that will include, but not limited to,
rolling, running, and walking individually and as an ensemble. We are
looking forpeople who own and are willing to use their own Apple iPad
for the project,however, if you donot own one there are also a limited
number available that can be provided. iPad protectors will be provided
for all.

Wednesday, May 16 from 7-8pm (Informational meeting - not required)
Sunday, May 27 | 9:00-11:00pm
Sunday, June 3 | 9:00-11:00pm
Friday, June 8 | 10:00pm-12:00pm

Note: Reserved Rehearsal -Wednesday, June 6 | 9:00-11:00pm(We have set aside an extra rehearsal in case we need it or if it rains during one of the other rehearsals.)
