Leave your stress at the door and prepare to enjoy a hands-on demonstration of the meditative art form called Zentangle. Zentangle is a meditative drawing art form that uses repetitive patterns. The end result is a calm, focused mind with the added bonus of a beautiful piece of artwork. Zentangle was created by a Massachusetts couple, Maria Thomas and Rick Roberts, who stumbled upon the meditative beauty of drawing repetitive patterns. Over the past several years it has spread around the world and taken root in a variety of settings. By the end of the demonstration you will have a beautiful piece of art and you’ll have learned a technique you can use any time or place to relax, meditate and focus on the moment.
