Altered Esthetics' Solo Exhibition: Marnie Erpestad's "Speechless"
Marnie Erpestad’s first solo exhibition, “Speechless” is a collection of black and white photographs examining the breakdown of human communication. Each photo encapsulates emotions experienced when a dialogue stops. Marnie uses photography as a means of observing human relationships and reflecting what she finds back at the world. She lives and works in Minneapolis, Minnesota and can be contacted at marnie.erpestad@gmail.com.

Altered Esthetics is a nonprofit 501(c)3 community gallery run by artists, for artists. Bringing together dimensional art, music, poetry, performance art ,and film, we are one of the most creatively diverse galleries in the Twin Cities. Through the Solo Exhibitions Program, Altered Esthetics provides an opportunity for artistic growth, access and exploration, and the promotion of emerging artists through community outreach and local partnerships. In addition to providing a space for a solo show at a local host in the community, Altered Esthetics assists with career guidance and growth with organizational and business skills needed to maintain a successful art career.
