Pine Center for the Arts is is happy to bring internationally famous photographer and artist Wing Young Huie to Pine City to lead a “Chalk Talk” workshop. This will be an intimate and non-confrontational evening that will address issues of bias, challenging preconceptions of the other and one’s self.

In addition Wing will be teaching participants to go out into the community and perform their own chalk talks with people. The resulting images from this workshop and participants own Chalk Talks will be displayed in the Pine Center for the Arts gallery in September and also be a part of the 2012 Photos on Buildings October 12-13-14 2012.

Registration is available at Pine Center for the Arts, the cost is free to all. For more information, contact Pine Center for the Arts at 320-629-4924 or info@pinecenter.org.
