The purpose for screening this film is to raise public awareness regarding what this plant actually is, what it is not and how it affects cancer and many other diseases.
Following the film and brief discussion will be a rare SOLO performance by Playwright (Malcolm X Meet Peter Tosh) Spoken Word Performer (Talkin'Roots Crew,"The Project") and Cancer Survivor David Daniels
Daniels will be weaving a blend of roots oriented poetry,stories and spoken word material culled from old and newer material.
