Krokbragd on the Rigid Heddle Frame Loom
Explore the traditional weft-faced Scandinavain Krokbragd weave structure, which is so easy to translate to the rigid heddle frame loom. Students will begin by practicing standard weaving techniques using a few traditional patterns and then move into designing and drafting their own Krokbragd design. The last session will focus on finishing and show and tell. Wool yarns and cotton carpet warp are available for purchase at WGM. Otherwise students are welcome bring any worsted weight wool in several colors. Handout fee $5, payable to the instructor.
