Past the Apocalypse

We made it through, but are we in the clear? Reflections and predictions about the end of the world find solace at Ae.

Join us in the month of February to celebrate and predict a subject that captivates many–the end of our existence. Altered Esthetics is proud to be exhibiting over fifteen artists with pieces in numerous mediums, including digital prints, sculpture, acrylics and ink. During the course of this exhibition, Ae will be hosting a coat drive to help others who are experiencing disaster or hardship. Please bring any unwanted, washed coats or jackets you are willing to part with, and we will be donating them to the Salvation Army! The opening reception on February 1st will also feature live music performed by Minneapolis singer/songwriter Elena.

Show runs Jan 31 - Feb 21, 2013

Altered Esthetics is a nonprofit 501(c)3 community gallery run by artists, for artists. Bringing together dimensional art, music, poetry, performance art, and film, we are one of the most creatively diverse galleries in the Twin Cities. Altered Esthetics holds group shows so that multiple artists of all backgrounds can display their perspectives on a given theme, and works to sustain the historical role of artists as a voice of society through exhibits, events, services, workshops, and programs.
