July 12, 2014, 1:00PM to 1:30PM, Walker Open Field, free event.
Come and see 100 choreographers as they perform their own work of choice in a 4’x4’ square within a 40’x40’ grid simultaneously.
"100 Dancing Outside" is conceived and designed by Laurie Van Wieren and supported by the fabulous people in the Walker Art Center's Education Department. The Open Field Coordinator is local dance/theater maker Laura McGinley Holway
We will see what happens when 100 dance makers perform all at once. It is an experiment in curation and choreography. It is an opportunity to come together, dance outside in the summer and demonstrate the quality as well as quantity of choreographers in the Twin Cities.
