Cadence Eischens is a passionate young artist and environmental student, whose focus is exploring how to bridge the gap between art, science and the public through conservation photography.
Her mission in photography is to bring the rhythms of nature and culture she notices around her into focus for the rest of the world, in their most raw and beautiful form. Cadence believes the most memorable photographs are those one must work for, and she revels in going the extra mile to capture images that inspire her viewer. Cadence’s passion and talent for photography is matched only by her communication skills. Public speaking, along with translating scientific studies into comprehensive information, is her niche.
Through the narratives of language and photography, Cadence has created “The Monarch” - a show which illustrates the endangerment of monarch butterflies and how local farming communities impact them. Via this unique merging of art and science, she seeks to enlighten her audience on the role the public plays in protecting monarchs and sustainable farming, motivating them to make positive change for generations to come.
