PAST/PRESENT, an exhibit of select works from the estate of artist Malcolm Myers and current works of T. Young. This exhibit is a journey of art from a past to the present, as created by two artists from two different generations, in two different centuries and presented in one space, together.

About Malcolm Myers: Malcolm joined the University of Minnesota's Dept. of Art in 1949 where he was a Professor of Studio Art until his death in 2002. Malcolm's work is recognizable for its unique imagery, notably his depictions of all species of animal. Although he focused primary on the intaglio printing, he worked through both painting and prints when pursuing a series.
About T. Young: In 2005, T. Young switched painting styles from folk art to abstract and relaunched her art career as an abstract painter. She currently works from her studio & gallery 463 at the Northrup King Bldg. in NE Mpls. where she creates her work by “painting the conversation”.
