Wicked Sister Dance Theatre presents Acrobatic Performance at Pioneer Place,
October 11-14, 2007 Local choreographer and Central MN Arts Board Individual Artist Award winner David DeBlieck brings his eclectic company to St Cloud for an evening of acrobatic-inspired performance, co-presented by Pioneer Place at their theater on Fifth Avenue, October 11-14. Dance collides with circus arts as airborne bicycles and animated innertubes join forces with paper pushers, romantics on ropes and ukulele-strumming beach bums. Don’t miss Wicked Sister Dance Theatre’s unique blend of family friendly performance! Shows are at 7:30pm Thurs-Saturday, and at 2:00 pm on Sunday. Tickets are $16 general admission and $14 for students or seniors, and may be purchased by calling Pioneer Place at 320-203-1233. To order tickets online: http://www.ppfive.com For more information about the company and photos of the show: http://www.wickedsisterdance.org Wicked Sister’s production at Pioneer Place is supported, in part, by a project grant from the St Cloud Arts Commission and the city’s Change for the Arts program. |

ZOMBIE CARNIVAL !!
In springtime, one’s fancy turns toward Love; in the autumn it turns toward … Death?? Join in celebrating the least glamourized of the undead ~ Zombies. Stevens Square Center for the Arts takes a lighter look at these ghoulish denizens of the grave in The Zombie Carnival. On Saturday the 25th of October, from 7-11 pm, there will be a Dead-Man’s-Ball-closing-party-extravaganza! $3 suggested donation. The party will have creepy carnival games, ghoulish gourmet delights, live (or Dead?) music, prizes for Zombie costumes (including sexiest and most dead), and a wicked Dead-Man’s Punch to kick the life back into you. You can also have a Zombie makeover, or have your Zombie caricature done. So bring a few x-tra bucks to join in the fun! All proceeds will go towards SSCA in hopes that more all-out gala events such as this will continue. SSCA is located at 1905 3rd Ave S (above the 3rd Ave Market) in Minneapolis. SSCA is a non-profit, all volunteer run organization now celebrating its 5th year. www.stevensarts.org |
