What did I do today.....

Well, I've been holed up for 3 days working on a big project so the hours are really blending together. I did get out for a minute last night to shoot an event at the Nomad Pub for Metro Mag. The Westminster Dog show was on TV and people brought their dogs down to the bar for a party about it. It was cute, and at times, slightly disturbing. I did get too meet a hairless chihuahua style dog with a mohawk and a temporary tattoo of a flaming skull on it's butt, though.

Default Snow blowing the day away............
Today was for blowing. Based on how excited all the weather guys on TV were last night you would have thought a disaster was coming. But no, only a couple inches of light fluffy stuff. Spent four hours snow blowing then to starting that fab task of filling out Summer Art Festival Applications.
Here is a photo from a couple days ago gone under the snow. Footprints in the snow scoured by the wind.

Default broken glass and blood
i cannot believe how crazy last night was, and how it was an extension of the days before that. tonight threatens to be worse. i am officially out next friday. things are more fucked up than i can remember them ever being. if you live around stevens, look for random art on the street, as i'll be setting odd boards and panels out in the next few days. if i don't get killed. walked right into a crack den to tell someone what was up, like ten people in there. the guy who is evicted today that lived there laying naked on the bed except for his underwear, with the place full of people smoking. landlord "uhhh, just what happened in your apartment last night?" all hell. i'm carrying a hammer with me as i might need it to hit someone (s). mopping up blood thinned by liquor. let it all come, i can take it. heres five drawings i did awhile back. sold the lot for 99 cents to a guy in germany. one of my worse sales lately. got some better prices from a series of people from spain, which makes spain the foreign country i've sent the most work to i think. i'm to about $500 a month on art, and maybe 25+ pieces to make that. so desperate today, and out of my mind...

Very nice job with a well done intro, JML. I think most here are plenty familiar with Gabe's work, but even if you are, check out the collection and get re-aquainted. Sorry about that other auction, Gabe. It just slipped my mind, I was thinking of bidding on those as well which would have created a bit more action. I hope things start looking up for you soon.

Default make it good
does not feel like to much fun Gabe. If you need a place to dry out (or keep drinking) this fucking complex, although a bit out of the city is under renovation from burning last summer, + has new burns + has no security. You can walk right into one of the unfinished, unlocked units. It's a homeless guys dream. Good for sleep. I don't know how easy it would be to not get caught... but the pool is open 24 hours for heated chlorine baths. So you could stay clean. I'm just offering whats available. I know it's not desirable. You will probably find a friend closer to bounce to. But I do know the hard desperation of starving. Mushrooms are nutritious, but please, stay away from the crack heads. Having to drop a hammer is more stress then you need if you don't eat. Hey, save the money. I'll come get that piece. I'm getting paid Monday and I'll come get that piece. If you need anything at all I have some resources. Don't let it get worse. Don't die. Just chill till you get out of there. some one will offer something....... you can probably afford a cheaper situation northeast. You would be well in the arts district G.

Default this shit is so weird
OK. I'm just doing it cause it's strange.

Grumpy's was re-named willies. I don't like Willy.

I've got to go to Anoka court in 6 hours to be a witness for something I did not witness. Thanks tax payers, I'll be claiming lost wages.

I'm going to meet M.Fallon at Gabes apartment in 36 hours.

Me and Gabe are going to jump him. Beat down for all the outsider who have artists been exploited.

Just kidding.

Hey, let me make a video of a painting, recklessly driving across the city.

I'll be right back when it's done.
