Make sure to introduce yourself to the community, say Hi! & meet the other members of the community. Feel free to make a new thread to say Hi!
Without further ado... Hi! I am Will Lager, the Community Liaison for mnartists.org. I have been around the MN arts community for a while, having worked at Minnesota Citizens for the Arts, Springboard for the Arts & various places around the U of MN. Any of you buying supplies over at Gardner Hardware in the Minneapolis Warehouse District may see me moonlighting there on Fridays. Last edited by Will Lager : 02-27-2006 at 03:06 PM. |

Chuck Avery here. Photo lab manager by day and photographer/artist by nights and weekends. I'm looking to get that night job into a more full time gig and vice versa. Been looking through a viewfinder for 30 years, but have only recently been able to give it the attention it's been whining for all that time (sigh). Currently showing some prints at MCP (check out Alex Starace's review online here....). So we plug away.......

Nick Ahrens here. A guy who has a fun time making art and looking at others work too. I'm not out to change the world with my stuff, its more that I really enjoy making it. If someone likes it though it makes me happy.

I'm a photographer, visual artist-type person. I've just started a daily Photo Blog thing, and I'd love for ARTISTS to check it out and comment, instead of just "nice friends." My wife and I also do collaborations... No "real" job at the moment, but always on the look-out. Nice to meet everyone.

Hello,
Bland office worker by day, attempting to be creative at night and in my spare time. Trying my hand at welding and metal fabrication. I like the patterns that metal on metal creates. Spirographs and end mills make really cool patterns. Doing my part to muddle the world of backyard decorations and custom fabrication. Gus |
