When you first realized you were an artist

I'm doing research about the origins of artists and so a question to you all:
-When did you first realize you were an artist? -What were the circumstances? Where were you? Were there any mitigating circumstances (what was your background, your family history, your personal tendencies regarding art)? -What specific influence(s) led to this realization? -How did you feel when you first realized this?
