Gabrielle Abram is a Gary, Indiana native she grew up dancing in only Hip-Hop styles (self-taught) for eight years. She then went on to received extra training at Perpich Center for Arts and Education and The TU Dance Center. There she learned Ballet, Modern, West African and Jazz. during her time at Perpich, she choreographed four works and performed them at the school's annual winter and spring dance show. In the summer of 2014, she attended the Arena Dances Intensive. Upon Graduating she attended Columbia College Chicago for a year then returned to the cites to work and perform with Choreographers such as Mathew Janczewski, Vanessa Voskuil, Orlando Hunter and Marciano Silva Dos Santos on stages like The O'Shaughnessy Auditorium, The Southern Theater and The Cowles Center for Dance & The Performing Arts. Gabrielle is a supporter and dancer in the Hip-Hop community performing in shows like Mixtape vol. 1 & 2, I Am From vol. 2 and Rooted and more.
Gabrielle is a Core Company Member of STRONGmovement lead by Darrius Strong and Atlantis13 Dance Collective lead by Peace Madimutsa and Johnathan Van Arman. In 2018 she co-produced her first show at the Lab Theater titled "Listen." along with eight other choreographers. Gabrielle is trained/training in several styles of dance such as Modern, Ballet, KRUMP, Vouge and other various hip hop styles. She hopes to continue dancing and also dive into the producing side of the arts.
