Isabela is an Ecuadorian illustrator currently living in Minneapolis. She draws inspiration from the natural world by studying leaves and flowers during the warmer months, and the fascinating patterns of ice during winter time. She is interested in developing complementary designs that support a healthy, conscious and sustainable lifestyle. She is passionate about pattern making and exploring different textures created with both traditional and digital media.

Isabela interned at the Light Grey Art Lab illustration gallery and worked for the MCAD Main Gallery for four years as an installation technician during which she curated an international student show in the spring of 2017.
