I've graduated from both design and art faculties. This joined expierience influences my art by the greatest extent.
My works are focused on emerging sociological model of human relations, behaviour and values in the age of new media.
By experimenting with various mediums I look for the way to express my interpetation of existential and emotional impact that internet revolution has brought into our lives.
In my works I combine performance, photography, video and painting, putting them into a perpetual process of construction and deconstrunction.
Objects change and interlace, often decomposing one another, to create something new.
I embed them in site-specific space, augmenting physical world with artefacts generated in their trasngression of the blurred line between real and digital space.
The culmination of that process is the ephemeral moment of their temporary realization, which I try to capture.
Material registered that way is put back into the cycle, only to be deconstructed again.
That way, the only thing that remains of a performance is an unmodified copy of that moment. A snapshot from the cycles constant evolution.
In some cases I introduce post-human characters – beeings that symbolize stereotypes, conventions and emotial states. Personated by me, they become a living part a installation, interacting with space and objects they express melancholy and sense of loss in the age o virtual reality.
My aesthetic is a composition of minimalism with neon pink color palette. It's influenced by post-internet art, corporate reality and culture of the 90's. I perceive the internet as collection of ideas and objects that can give inspiration and be reinterpreted, as well as a valuable source of reflection on how people relate to the medias they use.
