Jame Cofield is a mixed media artist who predominantly works in photography and ceramics. They grew up in the rural area outside Monticello, Minnesota. They graduated Anoka-Ramsey Community College with an Associate of Fine Arts Degree. Jame is a candidate to graduate University of Wisconsin River Falls with a Bachelor of Fine Arts degree in Photography in the spring of twenty nineteen. Jame has exhibited work nationally, most recently at the pin-up show at the Society for Photographic Education national conference in Philadelphia. Other locations Jame has exhibited work at include: juried shows at Anoka-Ramsey Community College, All for Art (2015), and Music and Art (2016), and the juried show Wanna Do Something… Sometime (2018) in Gallery 101 at University of Wisconsin River Falls. They participated in the group exhibition Artists in Progress at Anoka-Ramsey Community College (2016). They are scheduled to have their thesis show at the University of Wisconsin River Falls in the spring of 2019 in Gallery 101. They recently exhibited in the Harriet Barry Gallery, and the Outdoor Exhibition (2018). Jame has also exhibited a solo piece in the Outdoor Exhibition (2017) at University of Wisconsin River Falls. Jame has received the Perpetual Clay Scholarship (2016) and Student of The Year Award in the field of Visual Arts (2016) while attending Anoka-Ramsey Community College.
