Ms. Kitzhaber's work is influenced by landscape and architecture. She is interested in how, by changing the perspectives and spatial relationships of objects and their surroundings, an ambiguity is created by use of color, shape and form.
In addition to being a professional artist, Ms. Kitzhaber teaches Painting and Drawing and advises art students for the University of WI-River Falls. She earned a BFA in 1995 and an MFA in 2000, both with a major emphasis in Painting and Drawing from the University of MN-Twin Cities. Ms. Kitzhaber works out of Studio 370, Northrup King Building in Minneapolis MN. She is married and lives in the Twin Cities.
