Kelly Povo is a photographer of landscapes: architectural, spiritual, environmental and social.
Her photographs are black and white, hand-colored and color. She uses both film and digital media.
Her work has been published internationally as posters, calendars, notecards and books. She has a greeting card line, "Kelly Cards," featuring black and white hand-colored photographs of her friends, dressed in crazy retro clothes and sunglasses that is both humorous and inspirational. She also published a book featuring her early diner and café work entitled Roadsides: Images of the American Landscape.
Recently, she co-authored a book with Minnesota author Phyllis Root entitled, Searching for Minnesota’s Native Wildflowers published by University of Minnesota Press and available May 2018.
