I have always enjoyed creating art. I studied first at the “Schroeder Art Guild” in Elk River under Harvey Schroeder. From there I obtained an Associates degree from the University of Minnesota in Commercial Illustration – Graphic Design. That was complimentary to my fine art and from there I attended The College of St. Scholastica where I had obtained a BA in Marketing.
My past studies have gained me an understanding and experience in working with a variety of subject matter as well as with a variety of painting mediums. I’m quite schooled in oils, acrylics, pastels, watercolors, colored pencil, ink, gouache plus many others. My favorite for intense portrait studies are oils.
My work has been included in private collections as well as having been accepted in many art shows and exhibits. I am currently exploring new venues for my work and enjoy sharing with others my talents and skills.
