The Hmong American Experience Series continues to revisit what it means to be Hmong American. This series goes beyond visually representing Hmong, it seeks to redefine Hmong traditions, history, and culture through the mundane or through everyday experiences. The works questions the relevance of tradition, culture, and textiles, specifically interrogating how they become expressions of Hmong American culture and identity.
