May Waver is a multimedia artist working predominantly in video. She is interested in ideas surrounding connection, sensation, technology, and nature; her most recent solo show at Lemonade Gallery explored the sensory and emotional possiblities of ASMR videos. She frequently shows work online and in physical exhibition spaces, and her work has been the subject of writings in Art21, Artforum, Bitch Magazine, and Rhizome, among others. In 2014, May co-founded a femme centered arts and tech collective, cybertwee, with artists Gabriella Hileman and Violet Forest. Some of cybertwee's notable projects include hosting a bake sale on the deep web and developing a cybertwee app to exhibit digital artworks by femme artists. May lives and works in St. Paul, MN, USA.
