Michaela Chorn received her BA from Concordia College, Moorhead in 2013 and is currently attending the Minneapolis College of Art and Design for her MFA in Painting and Drawing. In her practice, Chorn explores ideas around aura, material, and labor.
In 2012, Chorn received the Concordia College SGA Undergraduate Research Fellowship. In 2016, she gave a lecture at the Fourth Annual Minneapolis Institute of Art & Associated Colleges of the Twin Cities Graduate and Undergraduate Art History Symposium. Chorn has shown her work at Paramount Center for the Arts in St. Cloud, MN; Gallery One in Minneapolis, MN; The Quarter Gallery at the University of Minnesota; SooVAC in Minneapolis, MN; Hallberg Center for the Arts in Wyoming, MN; and the Main Gallery at MCAD in Minneapolis, MN. She is also an internationally collected artist.
