Barbaric Yawp is an open mic reading series sponsored by Mackenzie Pub and hosted by local poet Christopher Title. The event invites readers and/or authors from all genres to participate the last Sunday of every month, 7-9pm, Apr.-Aug. at 918 Hennepin, Mpls. This summer reading series is an informal gathering of literati sharing their interest in spoken word. Burgeoning and accomplished readers and writers convene for the performance and admiration of the written and spoken word. People read their own work and that of others, and it is good.
