Provides connection for the many groups and individuals involved in children's literature; raises awareness of, and the level of respect for, children's books, book creators, and resources; offers encouragement to our members with information and grant opportunities; offers educational opportunities to our members by organizing and sponsoring workshops, seminars, and conferences; and encourages more children and young adults to read more books by working within our communities on reading, writing, and literacy projects.
