The Augsburg College Art Galleries provide students, staff, and faculty the opportunity for meaningful engagement with the visual arts on a daily basis. In keeping with the College's dedication to fostering diversity, creativity, and personal freedom, the Gage Family Art Gallery and the Christensen Center Gallery display works of art in various media by diverse local and regional artists. A total of fourteen exhibitions are scheduled each year. Most of these exhibitions are selected from outside proposals submitted by established and emerging artists. In April and early May the galleries are used to showcase the annual All Student Juried Exhibition.

The Galleries and Exhibits Program gives students the chance to work and gain experience in arts administration, exhibition planning, and the daily operation of a professional gallery.
