I started to play lead guitar in a Disco/Rock band while still attending High School in New York City in the mid 1970s and from there I went on to college play lead guitar in The Broome Blues band. A year later I left college and then returned to NYC and played in numerous bands and gigs anything from Funk,Latin, New Wave, Fussion, etc and I also attended a lot of jam sessions with various musicians. I moved to Minneapolis in 1985 and played in a local Funk band then decided to go solo and quit playing in bands and began to seriously write my own songs. I started getting booked at local cafes with my own music and I also started to paint more and later on booked my first art gigs at The Coffee Gallery and The Egg and I restaurant Uptown. Now I still perform my music, produce my own music CDs while I continue to paint and do various music and art shows and some events I do as a volunteer for charity fundraisers and other kinds of events.
As a painter nature is my altar of inspiration, and music and art are the nourishment for the soul.
