  • Password:SuperGroup This is a clip from it’s [all] highly personal, the first collaboration between SuperGroup and Rachel Jendrzejewski. This clip comes at the end of an extended section comprised of performers joining and exiting a long movement phrase, shifting in and out of unison. The movement itself was generated through text-based improvisations by all of the cast members which were then sourced, spliced together, and learned. The performers are gradually dropping out of this movement ph…
  • Password: SuperGroup The Tent Has Been Pulled Down is our second multi-tasking work and is the result of two independent performance tracks; a movement track created sequentially through consensus-based improvisation, and a vocal/text track that was inspired by intergenerational feminisms and the feminist blogosphere. Once created, the tracks were learned separately and then performed simultaneously. We're interested in this process as a way to complicate perception, expose moments of associativ…
