Public Displays of Affection
Tim is the ideator of Public Displays of Affection, an omnimedia art generator.
He is an inventor and artist. His time is spent as a designer, writer, theatre artist, actor, dancer, choreographer, film/videomaker, composer/sound designer, producer, and problem solver.
Projects dictate media choices. For Jon Ferguson and Theatre Forever he’s composed sound/music for works such as Animal Farm, Super Monkey, The Brutes, The Big Show, The Nature Crown, and Good Job Horses. He’s done music/sound for plays by Live Action Set, Walking Shadow Theatre Company, Stages Theatre Company, and Workhaus Collective. He has acted with Theatre Forever, Theatre de la Jeune Lune, In the Heart of the Beast Puppet and Mask Theatre, Flaneur Productions, Jay Scheib, and Live Action Set. He has danced for Chris Schlichting, and has shown three choreographic works: Public Exercise, Body Test, and Collective Bargaining, which was chosen for the 2009 Walker Art Center Choreographers’ Evening. Tim’s debut as a director was 2013’s It's All True, Episode IV, which he created for the Minnesota Fringe Festival. He returned to the MN Fringe in 2016 with Watch This Space (55 minutes in 2146), and in 2017 with The Migraine Room (Photophobia).
Tim is currently fomenting the soft web launch of publicdisplaysofaffection.org
and now seeking a storefront space to house the work.
