These are digital backdrops created for Djola Branner's performance workshop. These images were created for an ensemble performance in which three-part monologues alternated with movement. My intention was to give each performer a distinctive visual motif while using the same composition.

The theme of the workshop was "what we see in others that they cannot see in themselves." This naturally gave rise to a spiral composition, suggested by the iris, camera shutter, etc. The originals of the images are acrylic paintings on 5"x7" canvas board. Color was manipulated in images #5 and #6 to give the desired effect when projected.

Numbering of the images reflects the order of creation.

Performance dates: 27 and 28 July 2007 (Friday and Saturday nights) 8 pm at Patrick's Cabaret.
