The Art Institutes International Minnesota is proud to announce the exhibition opening of Mad Hope of Exposure. This exhibition highlights the talents and work of the graduating class of the Bachelor of Fine Arts program in Photography for Spring 2010. The exhibiting artists are Ryan Dyer, Anna Eveslage, Lisa Hylle, Morgan Lust, Ashley Miller, Kelly Moey, Brandon Monnier, Jonathon Pavlica, Courtney Schneider, and Brandon Werth. The exhibition will be held at The Art Institutes International Minnesota’s galleries, located at 15 South 9th Street in downtown Minneapolis. The exhibition runs now through THursday, July 15, 2010.
The ten artists represented in Mad Hope of Exposure have produced a wide variety of photographic work. Each artist has a unique style that they have been developing during their studies. Among them, Ryan Dyer, whose work, inspired by his childhood along the shores of Lake Huron, uses photography to tell the stories held within landscapes; Anna Eveslage combines reality and imagination through characters and narratives of her own creation; Ashley Miller makes emotionally provocative documentary work with a strong journalistic bent ; Jonathan Pavlica documents daily life through compelling portraiture, sharing with the audience the joy of living; Courtney Schneider photographs fashion with a particular interest in female portraiture.
