ART is still HERE: A One-Night ART HERE Retrospective featuring 35 local artists and 14 local film makers at the Minnesota Museum of American Art.

For over a year the Minnesota Museum of American Art has spent first Fridays pushing out the boundaries of already borrowed space into Ramsey County’s government center cafeteria or lobby to invite local artists in to share their work for an evening long exhibition called ART HERE 1st Fridays.

On Saturday, January 7, as the MMAA is mid-installation in preparation for the next special exhibition, the artists who have supported and carried the success of the ART HERE program have been invited back to exhibit in the main Riverfront gallery; no cafeteria, no metal walls. Over 30 local artists will be showcased for this one-night retrospective to celebrate another new year in St. Paul’s only art museum’s own “temporary” space.

This collection features artists registered on mnartists.org who will be exhibiting during ART is still HERE at the MMAA.
