Where are the mavericks on mnartists.org?

I love href="http://www.mplsart.com/open_image.php?i=images/graffiti/g03/69.jpg">27.

I had started this with what seemed obvious to
me.  Start with some street art, end
with some gallery work.  I did a search
on "graffiti artists"...but alas, nothing.style='mso-spacerun:yes'>  With that said, would it really be that
“maverick” to have work on a site whose explicit goal is building
community?

It wasn't obvious to me at first, but it should
have been.

When I found nothing that truly pertained to
graffiti, I started thinking of all of the amazing artists in our town...some I
know & some I don't.  There are
the artists that make headlines, like href="http://www.mnartists.org/artistHome.do?rid=35753">Mari Newman &
her art house, and those that should, like href="http://www.mnartists.org/artistHome.do?rid=97188">Bill class=SpellE>Beekman who wears his art & political views daily,
putting himself in direct conflict with many-a-reserved Minnesotan.style='mso-spacerun:yes'>  Oh, and then there is href="http://www.mnartists.org/organizationHome.do?rid=55156">Pop Bomb
Conspiracy...WTF!

The not-so-easily-defined maverick.style='font-size:8.0pt;font-family:"Trebuchet MS";mso-bidi-font-family:Arial'>

So, the final pieces that made it in this
collection were pulled solely on the basis of the work. Work that made me
wonder, “How did that get there?”style='mso-spacerun:yes'>  I was delighted, saddened, appalled...
and each time I was surprised.  In
my search through thousands of works of art, I was hijacked by a thumbnail!
