To surround yourself and your family with things that make you smile--things that bring you warmth and happiness--what could be a better mix of ingredients for a home? And when those things that bring warmth and happiness are works of art, the statement is much more personal then a pretty hall mirror or a souvenir art poster.
The art that fills Cate Curry’s home consists solely of paintings, both small and large. The collection is not built for investment and it’s not the result of a formal art history background. Cate simply collects in order to fill her life with art, so that around each corner of her home, a cluster of paintings delight her. She fills the lives of her children with art. The true investment of Cate’s collection is not of the monetary type, but rather an investment in her children’s future, providing them an early introduction to creativity and its endless possibilities.
