Land Revisited: Aaron Dysart and Gregory Fitz

Land Revisited is a two-person exhibition featuring Aaron Dysart’s sculpture and Gregory Fitz’s painting. The show promises to have a strong combination of visual dissonance and conceptual harmony. Comprised completely of new work, both artists have ruminated over the complex slippery relationship of humans and land. The resulting work documents an expansive search, rather than reductive judgment. Along with this conceptual similarity, both artists ride a fine line between mess and cohesion with painting that questions resolution and sculpture that confuses material and object.
