Linda is an Alumni of The School of the Art Institute of Chicago, since graduation she has been an active artist both professionally and personally. Linda’s professional background includes; Shoe Designs for Fisher Price, Furniture Design and Buying for Homelife Furniture, Interior Design and Merchandising. Personally, throughout her life she has continued to build on her art and business background by challenging herself to experiment with her work. She has worked in a wide range of mediums including: Photography, Gauche-Watercolors, Acrylic Painting and Block Printing with Linoleum blocks. Her most passionate aspect is working with color manipulating them to work both harmoniously and in contrast to one another, also to change the perspective from “normal” to the abstract.
Her accomplishments include; 2015 Judge for 15th Annual Essential Art Show with Visual Arts Minnesota, 2012 Minnesota State Fair Fine Art show, participant in
Barewalls, AIR art Auction benefits, and has been awarded multiple contracts with the Art Institute of Chicago Gift Shop for a Holiday Card Design featured in the Museum Catalog and website. She is also a member of MNartists.org and Buffalo Art Guild. Currently she the President of the Buffalo Art Guild, participating in shows, co-op guild gallery, and lectures. She also teaches a variety of art classes through Buffalo Community Education. Linda is also a founder and owner of LJP Creative Concepts, a company that specializes in original work of Art, Custom Designs and Interior Design work.
Currently Linda is a stay at home mom of two children and continues to take her life experiences, both professionally and personally, to help her artwork flourish and develop.
