Chelsea Arden Parker
Chelsea Arden Parker is a video artist and arts organizer in Minneapolis, MN. She is the co-creator and curator for Feminist Video Quarterly, a local video arts community and screening featuring work made by female and non-binary artists. She is also the Co-Festival Director for the Altered Esthetics Film Festival, a yearly experimental film festival hosted at the Southern Theater.
Chelsea’s artistic practice includes photography, animation, puppetry, non-narrative video production and video installation. She currently works as a freelance video editor, and has previously facilitated youth video production and media literacy at CTV North Suburbs, as well as studio production at Minneapolis Television Network. She served two years with the Community Technology Empowerment Project (CTEP) AmeriCorps program promoting digital access and advocacy.
She attended the Rochester Institute of Technology for Photography and the School of the Art Institute of Chicago for Photography, Video and New Media, as well as FAMU International in Prague for New Media.
Proficient in Adobe CC Suite. History of work includes Photography, Video Production, Sound Design, Video Installation, and Puppetry. Some experience with Digital Animation.
