Kathy Huwe is a retired elementary teacher from Bagley, Minnesota. She also resides in Aguila, Artizona during the winter months.
She is a self taught artist and started painting when she retired and began going to Arizona.
She is a member of the Bagley Area Arts Collaborative. (BAAC). She has learned a great deal about several mediums by taking many workshops.
She prefers oil painting but also paints with acrylics on feathers and also does some water color painting.
Kathy feels one of the most important benefits of painting is learning to really see objects and scenery in a"painterly" way. Most artists are always liiking for subjects to paint and are constantly taking pictures looking for that perfect lighting moment!
