The labyrinth pattern is unique in that it can be used as an individual meditation path as well as a partner walk. The latter process is described on a sign near the entrance. Two persons can walk the labyrinth side-by-…

 • This 6-circuit medieval style meditation labyrinth was installed as a feature in the staff patio area of a newly constructed inpatient psychiatric hospital serving children and adolescents. • This petite, portable labyrinth was commissioned by a therapist in Australia who works with families bereaved by suicide. This is the second commission for this client. The first was a similar labyrinth, but on a heavier-weight canvas material. The client desired a second, lightweight labyrinth that she could use for international travel. Her logo is made from turquoise dots, so the labyrinth was specifically designed to be complementary. The labyrinth is hand painted on a 10 ft square of nylon …

 • This installation involved the placement of a 7-circuit medieval labyrinth design onto newly installed, rose colored concrete pad as a part of an extensive garden design at the assisted care center of Friendship Vilalge of Shcaumburg, IL. Site to Place, Inc. designed the entire space, reserving a 36-ft diameter circle for the labyrinth installation. The labyrinth pattern was installed using a royal blue crushed granite stone product. • Creating ceramic labyrinths for personal use is a spiritual practice of gently molding the clay, working with the material and forming a meditative pattern that is smooth, flowing and can be used with closed eyes to enhance the contemplative experience. This piece uses the triple spiral symbol that is associated with Ireland and the Celtic tradition. Labyrinths are one path designs, follow the path into a central point and the same path back out again.
