I am a multimedia artist whose main artistic passion is audio, having started doing radio in 1982. I also write and create visual work: Assemblages, collage, photography, digital imagery & video. I also do physical chalk drawings. I enjoy doing, but am afraid of, performing live in front of people – being a radio person after all. Archiving and preservation are also important to me. As an example, an initial motivation in learning computer multi-media production in 1997, was so that I could remaster old 78 RPM records into a digital format.
In the summer of 2013 I was in a bad traffic accident that left me with many broken bones and also two permanent traumatic brain injuries. Since then, my own art and the time spent doing it have become an essential part of my well-being, personnel understanding and overall health as a human being.
