  • updated the Artwork Loaded
Loaded is an installation comprised of seven oversized dice situated along a walking path on the site of a former cement mine in Rosendale, New York. With this work, I utilize the metaphor of loaded dice to reference not only the particular history of the site, but also to highlight the extreme wealth inequality that currently exists in the United States.
  • Concurrent with the harvest season, I created this large-scale installation of pickled local produce, which was shown opposite a series of clay tablets recording selected minutiae of the corresponding labor. The tablets tallied hours spent in the kitchen, conversations/interactions with farmers, dishes washed, collaborators and contributing farms, and total errands run in the course of the project.
