I've been working in stained glass to include lamps, mosaic, and painted glass since 1976. I operate a studio in Shakopee, MN and do equal amounts of commercial and residential commissions. My work can be seen in local brew pubs, restaurants and chapels in the area and I have an extensive portfolio of work to view in my shop. Visitors will find a passionate artist that lives and breathes the medium and because I love the work so much I am in my shop nearly every day. My enthusiasm is contagious and I'm always excited to share my efforts with people who yearn for an old world craft that harkens us back to a time long ago. I hope to see you soon.
I started working in stained glass in 1976 and opened a commercial shop in 1980. Over this period I've been very prolific and have created thousands of sqare feet of glass. I worked in Oklahoma and North Texas in the late 70's and 80's during the oil boom and produce major pieces for many fine homes built in the era. I built windows for several restaurants in Oklahoma and North Texas and in 1981 was named Oklahoma Artist of the Year by Governor George Nigh. In 1989 I moved to Minnesota to escape the heat and enjoy winter and the hibernation in my studio all winter. I've spent more than 40 years working constantly to reach a level of skill that would allow me to execute anything my imagination could conceive. I have finally reached that point and I am overwhelmed with the joy that this has brought to me. If you meet me in my shop there will be no doubt that this is my lifes work and I'm incredibley enthusiastic about what I'm working on.
