  • This art installation was originally created for the 2018 World Café at the University of St. Thomas, an interdisciplinary forum focused on the topic of gun violence. The piece seeks to provoke reflection and dialogue on the question: What really protects us from gun violence?
  • Mike Klein updated the Artwork Legends of Boxing
This mural was creating in collaboration with young boxers from the Selma Youth Development Center (SYDC) in Selma, Alabama. It spans one wall of an under-funded boxing facility located in an old elementary school. It was designed by identifying boxing heroes and role models, while excluding those who did not live up to the ideals of the SYDC.
  • This collaborative mural project allows each participant to draw their image of a healthy, thriving community. Each image is redrawn on 6x6" wood tiles that participants paint individually. The tiles are assembled to form a diverse and united vision of community
