Sarah Grace Photography, LLC
Sarah has always had a rich interest in nature and education. With a background in legal and a Masters in Business, she prepared herself for a successful small business. After many years in the legal industry, Sarah courageously pursued her dream. Now, as a landscape photographer, she has the power to enrich others lives. She inspires others by evoking emotion through her works.
Due to her respect for our natural surroundings, she was nominated and received the 2014 Anoka County Recycling Champion designation. This award was granted by the Anoka County Board of Commissioners. The award encouraged and propelled Sarah's environmental endeavors. The nomination spawned from a news article regarding her work on R-365, a personal yearlong art and recycling project. (http://www.startribune.com/local/north/243544841.html) R-365 gained not only local publicity but also national recognition surrounding Sarah's creative efforts for social awareness on waste reduction and recycling.
The Human Impacts Institute selected several of the project’s pieces for a juried exhibition. The exhibition, the Creative Climate Awards, was hosted in New York City. The institute recognized individuals who inspire others to think more critically about their actions and their impacts, inspire action and combine art and education by making climate personal.
This body of work also landed Sarah on the Recycling Association of Minnesota annual planning board. While operating under this position, she organized and participated in a brand new “Wasted Art” exhibit at the 2014 Annual RAM/SWANA Conference.
A solo R-365 exhibit in 2016 was held at Rangefinder Gallery in Chicago, IL.
Sarah gained her Master Recycler/Composter designation through Anoka County. She teaches photography courses, judges art competitions, travels and photographs landscapes, architecture and weddings. She has also organized several solo and joint art exhibits around the Twin Cities.
Following another vision, Sarah developed her own product line of decorative window films. Her images are reproduced and sold nation wide and are helping heal patients at the Harrisburg Hospital.
Sarah's exhibition experience includes: Rangefinder Gallery (Chicago), Pipers, Foxy Falafel & Glimpse Gallery, St. Paul Art Crawls, Minneapolis Art-A-Whirl, numerous City Hall Exhibitions, Level Salon, Exit Realty, Haute Dish, Taipei Economic and Cultural Office (New York City), The Louvre (Paris).
She has also won awards for her photography.
Recently, Luther Honda, St. Cloud Hospital, The Waters Senior Living in Rochester, Edward Jones & Hockenberg Search have purchased her landscape pieces for their permanent collections.
As she continues to grow and be inspired by the natural world, her business expands to meet those dreams and goals.
