Kristie Kaiser Frudden
2008 MFA from Minneapolis College of Art and Design in Visual Studies, Illustration. Undergrad degree completed at the University of Northern Iowa with a BS in Art Education K-12, additional course work in the Arts at the University of Minnesota and Bemidji State. My career path has led me from teaching and exhibiting at the Bloomington Art Center, Art Specialist K-12 in the Anoka-Hennepin School District (Awarded: Selection of Excellence: Arts in Minnesota Schools) and St. Anthony/New Brighton School District (Awarded: Blue Ribbon School). I served as an Art Board Member for the City of St. Paul (Renovation of the Ramsey County Historical Court House), worked as a gallery associate at Peterson Fine Art Mpls., MCAD graduate teaching assistant, volunteer Resource Center facilitator for Spring Board for the Arts, and volunteer Adoption Advisor for Safe Hands Dog Rescue Organzation. I have numerous private and corporate collectors, Fine Art Awards (including the Great Minnesota State Fair Fine Arts Exhibit), and a deep involvement in narrative art.
