  • This romantic high dynamic range image of the historic train in Spooner, Wisconsin, looks absolutely stunning when printed on a substrate of high gloss enamel-coated aluminum. Please contact me for ordering information.
  • Rikki updated the Artwork Prince
I painted this in the weeks after Prince's transformation. It was the first in my Prince series of paintings and was featured at the Prince Tribute concert "This Thing Called Life" featuring the NPG members at the Parkway Theatre on June 4, 2016.
  • Rikki updated the Artwork Prince
This sweet painting is available at Magnetic Originals Gallery in Calhoun Square as 12x12 prints, 4x4 magnets, and 18x18 pillow.
  • Prince did not die in 2016; he was "transformed." His music has been an inspiration to me since the early '80's. This painting was awarded the People's Choice Award in the 2016 Hopkins Center for the Arts Members' Fall Juried Show.
  • Rikki updated the Artwork Chester
This precious photograph is especially lovely when printed on a substrate of high-gloss enamel-coated aluminum. This photograph won third place in the 2015 Savage Arts Council Juried Art Exhibition photography category.
  • I painted this historic Minneapolis cityscape from a 1973 reference photo. This strip of Hennepin Avenue between 6th and 7th Streets known as "Block E" left a deep and lasting impression in my memory of Minneapolis city life when I was a young girl and teenager. It was terribly exciting to ride the bus downtown to walk among the colorful characters who frequented and populated this famous avenue. Block E was demolished in 1988 before I became of age to enter establishments like Moby Dick…
  • Rikki updated the Artwork Buccaneer
This is a portrait of my son on his eighteenth birthday. He bought this fine hat at the Minnesota Renaissance Festival. This painting received an "honorable mention" award at the Hopkins Center for the Arts Members Spring Show in 2016.
  • Rikki updated the Artwork Self Portrait in Blue
The blue feathers of this mask attracted my attention in New Orleans. This self-portrait is a tribute to self-government and freedom, doing what you want and how you want. "Success is liking yourself, liking what you do, and liking how you do it." --A quote by Maya Angelou
  • Rikki updated the Artwork Throne
A few years ago on "World Toilet Day," I read an article in USA Today about America's best bathrooms. The bathroom that was crowned with the title of "superlative throne" was right here in Minneapolis. The photos looked intriguing and beautiful and led me to discover the Varsity Theatre and the Loring Pasta Bar to see the bathrooms in real life for myself. They really are gorgeous and unique spaces. "World Toilet Day" is marked annually on November 19 to draw attention to the fact that …
